Caledonia Competence supports Competence Assurance in Sulmara

Caledonia Competence have been supporting Sulmara with their internal competence system.

The support has included delivering Assessor and Internal Verifier Training and supporting Sulmara’s offshore workforce involved in assessments via Caledonia Competence’s Competence Portal, ATTAIN.

Jamie Johnston, Technical Training Manager at Sulmara commented:

“At Sulmara, we’ve found the support provided by Caledonia Competence in managing and developing our internal competence system to be highly effective and reliable. The team has consistently delivered expert guidance, ensuring our approach remains both practical for our needs and aligned with IMCA’s recognised industry standard.

Training is well-organised and clearly structured in line with IMCA C001, and the advice we’ve received is helping us to shape a system that reflects our operational realities while keeping sight of the principles set out in IMCA C004.

The professionalism, responsiveness, and understanding of competence frameworks have made this partnership a valuable part of our overall training and competence strategy.”

Caledonia Competence’s Managing Director, Gavin Smith, added:

“We have developed a strong working relationship with the Sulmara team, and we have been impressed by their commitment to competence assurance.

I am particularly pleased that we have been able to support them via our ATTAIN Competence Portal, which has been well received.

Delivering remote Competence Assessor and Internal Verifier training to delegates from multiple regions has been an enjoyable experience, and it is clear that the offshore teams are engaged with the process.”
