CALEDONIA COMPETENCE MANAGING DIRECTOR APPOINTED VICE CHAIR OF IMCA COMPETENCE & TRAINING COMMITTEE

Caledonia Competence’s Managing Director, Gavin Smith, has recently been appointed as the Vice Chair of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA)’s Competence and Training (C&T) Committee.

Natalie Carroll, Global Training & Competence Manager at Boskalis Subsea Services and the Chair of the C&T Committee commented, “Gavin is no stranger to this role, having previously served as Chair of the C&T Committee and contributing extensively as a long-standing committee member. His wealth of experience in competence and training within the industry makes him exceptionally well-suited for this position, and I am confident he will continue to drive our committee’s objectives forward.

Please join me in congratulating Gavin as Vice Chair and thanking Andy Butler for his service in this role. I look forward to continuing our work together and progressing key initiatives for the committee.”

Gavin Smith added “I am delighted to have been appointed as the Vice Chair of the C&T committee. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as part of the committee over the years, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the work of the group via this role. I would like to echo Natalie’s comments about Andy Butler who supported me a great deal when I was the Chair”.
