Proof of Competence (PoC) Scheme – September 2020

The Caledonia Competence Proof of Competence (PoC) Scheme is a supported and robust Assessment, Verification and Certification Service for individuals who want to demonstrate their competence within their current role.

We are delighted to share the feedback from an ROV Supervisor who recently successfully attained Proof of Competence (PoC) Scheme certification.
He completed the 3 stages of the PoC process and was assessed against the IMCA ROV Supervisor table criteria and final verification deemed him competent for 5 years.

I think Caledonia Competence is a bit of a hidden gem. The competency verification process was very straightforward with excellent communication provided during each of the steps which allowed me to target the required information when offshore.

Having been through several competency processes over the years, I found working with Caledonia Competence to complete my ROV Supervisor competence very easy due to excellent communications throughout the process. Given the level of communication and the streamlined process provided the fees are appropriate to the service plus the certificate gained in valid for 5 years opposed to 3 years elsewhere. I will continue to work with Caledonia Competence as I continue to make career progress.”
